What is an Election, Week 5

Q1: What is an election? What type of election do we have in New Zealand?
A election is were all our country's people pick the Prime Minister.

Q:2 Why do we have elections in New Zealand?
To pick a Prime Minister.

Q3: What happens during an election?
Votes, for the people we think who should be Prime Minister

Q4: What do you think would happen if we did not have elections and people did not vote?
there would probably be talk against the people who vote to be Prime Minister in amongst their self's.

Q5: Who is the Prime Minister of New Zealand? How did he become the prime minister?
You become a Prime Minister in Votes, and a Prime Minister is like the person who decides for New Zealand and does the best for the people in New Zealand.

Q6: Why do you think it is important that people vote in elections?
So everyone get's a go in what they want to say about them.

Q7: If you became Prime Minister what is the first thing you would change?
I would stop Some Farmers that pollute the Rivers, and stop Homelessness.

Q8: How do you think our government can make New Zealand ‘more awesome’ like the Kid President?
I think just the way New Zealand is the best fun for me.

Q9: What do you think the Prime Minister’s main job is during the day?
sorting out Tax Papers, other things to help NZ, etc.


Q10: Even though you can’t vote what are some ways we can make sure our voices get heard?
Maybe we Vote, give the Teachers our Vote papers, each Classroom teacher votes from the most counted papers.
