Week 11, Classroom rules

1. What are expectations and values? Use a dictionary to define each word.
To help some of your classmates, and treat them respectfully.

2. Why do we have expectations and values in our classroom, school and community?

I think it is because if we don't have everyone respect each other as it can turn into a disaster,

that may course some harsh words, and possibly violence.

3. What are some of the expectations in your classroom?

Be clean and tidy, be cool and do your best, treat everyone equally with respect, work hard with

maximum effort, and respect and encourage others.

4. How do your classroom expectations influence your learning?

It helps me to try do my work to maximum, and have my manners on me at all times.

5. What would your classroom be like if you had no expectations and you could

do whatever you wanted?
I would try create the same expectations, cause if we didn't have them it would have been a
problem, some kids would have got out of hand.

6. If you could make an expectation for your class what would it be and why?

Try to tidy up a little before going home, because it can be very messy in the classroom

after they all go.

7. What are your school values? How are they displayed in your classroom and at your school?

Our school values are Respect, Excellence, and Perseverance. if we do these actions
many times we get badges.
8. How do you get recognised for displaying your school values?
I wear my REP badges to school.

9. How do you think your school values link to your learning in your classroom?

Do my work to the fullest, keep calm when I make a mistake.

10. What are your family values and why are they important? If you don't have any come
up with some - what would be important values in your family and why?
I think our family values are to not give up, be kind, and remember that the loved ones are

always with you.
